A felicitation and career counseling workshop was held on July 12, 2018, at Loo Niva meeting hall for ESP's SEE graduate students. There are altogether 6 students and 6 Loo Niva staffs and volunteers. During the program, Mr.Gyan Bkt Maharjan program coordinator facilitated the session . Program officer Ms. Sabina Bhandari highlights the objectives of the program.
During the session, Mr.Maharjan began with the open discussion with participants, which faculty they want to choose and what is their future plan . After the open discussion, it found that all of them were confuse to say that what was their future plan. After highlighting the problem of the students. Mr.Maharjan clear out their confusion and instruct them to make their future career goal a target plan : their future plan, present situation and what they have to do in future to meet their career goal. To meet that goal what kind of obstacle they will face, to overcome that obstacles what are the strategy they have to make to meet their goal. All the participants divided into 3 faculty groups they chose: 1) Management, 2) Computer Science and Social work. After group division, all the faculty group did a group work on career planning. Through this group work, it gave a clear vision plan for their career.
After the career counseling workshop. Loo Niva executive director Mr. Narendra Dangol apricated and handover a cash prize to the students,score a high GPA among the ESP's SEE graduate students. This year Ms. Rima Dulal from Jana Udaya Sec School and Ms. Dinisha Shrestha from Buddha Sec. School score a high GPA 2.90 in SEE, so both students received a cash prize. Mr.Dangol concluded the workshop by congratulating all the participants and wish them for their bright future.
