Lalitpur, Education Watch Group (EWG) in collaboration with Loo Niva Child Concern Group, Interpedia Finland and Ministry of Foreign Affair-Finland organized a national consultation program on the final examination of school education, publishing or result and new academic session. The program was coordinated with National Youth Council and NACG Nepal and solidarity from 15 networks; AATWIN, NCPA, SPCSN, DUCOM, NCFLG, CZOP, Inclusive Education, HRTMCC, NACRO, NOASC, CNET, N-CFLG, CONSORTIUM, Ratify OP3 CRC & Girls Not Brides Nepal. Education Watch Group conducted a national consultation program to have national-level consultation on these issues.
The main objective of the program was to provide concrete suggestions to the government for conducting the final exam, result publication & new academic year after adequate discussions on how to conduct the examination in the ban & how to address the group of students who are not covered by the alternative education system. The representatives from the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, MuAN, NARMIN, CNT, SMC federation, educationists, teachers, civil society organizations, I/NGOs, journalists, students participated in the program. Altogether, there were 250 participants in the program and the program was conducted through the ZOOM application.
