Loo Niva conducted the two-day training for the resource persons in the Dadeldhura district on 31 March to 1 April 2023. The main objective of the training was to empower and strengthen the knowledge, capacity, and facilitation skills of the youths and practices and make them capable to conduct the awareness program at the community level. All the youth facilitators were selected by the ward offices. The district coordination committee chief was the chief guest of this training. The training focused on the seven modules prepared by the Loo Niva team. That are
i) Right to Education,
ii) Disability Friendly School,
iii) Child Protection Service,
iv) Child Labor,
v) Girl's Friendly School,
vi) Non-discriminatory School Environment, and
vii) School child protection system.
The training was facilitated by Mr. Kiran Thapa, child rights activist. There were altogether 24 youths (7 male & 18 female and 1 PwDs) from Navadurga, Bhageshwor, and Amargadhi municipalities.
