Loo Niva supported the Child Assembly in Konjyosom Rural Municipality on 17 June 2026, providing a platform for children to actively participate in local governance and decision-making. The program was organized with the active engagement of the Rural Municipality Child Club Network; the assembly brought together 72 participants, including 41 children, to discuss child protection issues and children's rights.
During the assembly, children identified and prioritized 15 key issues and proposed activities for inclusion in the Rural Municipality's annual planning and budgeting process. Loo Niva also committed to supporting child-led initiatives through the child club network, enabling children to take forward awareness, advocacy, and community action on the priorities identified during the assembly. The initiative strengthened children's leadership, meaningful participation, and collaboration with local government in promoting child-friendly governance.
