Loo Niva conducted 18 one-day orientation sessions for parents of Nawadurga and Bhageshwar Rural Municipalities from April to June 2026. The orientations focused on seven key modules related to child protection, positive parenting, education, and inclusive practices to strengthen parents' capacity to support children's development and well-being
A total of 470 parents participated in the sessions, including 164 males and 306 females, demonstrating strong maternal engagement in child protection and education initiatives. The activities ensured inclusive participation, with 95 Dalit and 51 Janajati participants represented.
The orientation increased parents' awareness of positive parenting, child rights, and their roles in promoting children's education, protection, and participation. The activities also strengthened community support for creating safe, inclusive, and child-friendly environments for children.
