Loo Niva has conducted joint advocacy actions with LAMC at the ward level 5 times and 1 time at the municipality level during this quarter. They have participated in the ward and municipality level meetings and raised the issues of the children, children with disabilities, girls, and Dalits in the meeting. They have handed over the appeal letter to the ward chairperson and chairperson of the rural municipality. LAMC members are actively engaged in advocacy action during this quarter. They are recognized by wards and municipalities as they are aligning their advocacy objectives with their resource with local communities, saving groups, youth volunteers, mothers groups, child clubs, etc.
LAMC members are also counseling in the community regarding several issues of disability, Dalit rights, and child protection. Recently LAMC in Mahankal rural municipality of Lalitpur district has supported the prevention of child marriage at Konjyosom rural municipality, Shankhu village. The LAMC counseled the family members of the girl. With the help of the family, her marriage was canceled contacting the groom's family.
