The annual project advisory committee (PAC) monitoring visit was completed in Mahankal and Konjyosom rural municipalities on 30 November and 4 December 2023 respectively. The main objectives of the visit were to inform the project advisory committee by taking a visit to the working area of Loo Niva and directly participating in the program inspect the activities completed in the area and discuss the effectiveness, needs, and future strategies in direct contact with the relevant parties.
Vice Chairperson of both rural municipalities, chief administrative officer, ward chairs, head of the Local Education Unit, head of the children depart, planning to depart head and other MPAC members have visited project schools and monitored the project activities. The MPAC team visited Kalidevi Secondary School of Mahankal Rural Municipality Ward no 1, Bukhel, and Gothbhanjyang Secondary School of Konjyosom Ward no 1, Dalchoki.
The visited team conducted the interaction with the SMC/PTA/child club members and teachers. The visiting team focused on the effectiveness of the programs that are conducted by the PREP project during this year 2023. The team observed the classrooms, teaching methods that are applied in the classroom, utilization of the School Emergency Support Fund, and discussed the contemporary issues of the children in school. All the team members of the monitoring visit have provided suggestions and feedback to the PREP project for further improvement of project implementation.
