On April 5th and 6th, 2024, a two-day refresher training session was conducted for 20 youth facilitators who work with parents and child clubs in Dadeldhura District. Organized with the involvement of local youth leaders and the Social Development Office (SDO) of Dadeldhura, the training aimed to raise awareness about the roles and responsibilities of resource persons and enhance their facilitation skills.
The training covered seven essential modules designed for parents and child clubs, ensuring that participants were familiar with these key areas. The event had a total of 29 participants, including 14 males and 15 females. Through this training, participants were capacitated with a deeper understanding of their roles and responsibilities as resource persons, significantly enhancing their facilitation skills.
This initiative is crucial in ensuring that resource persons are well-equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively guide and support parents and child clubs. The training not only strengthened their abilities but also ensured that they were well-acquainted with the various modules, contributing to the overall goal of promoting child rights and education within the community.
