Dadeldhura, one-day training sessions for Child Protection Committees in 12 schools during the month of June. These trainings are an essential part of our efforts to empower school communities to effectively respond to child protection cases.
During June, SMC Chairpersons, Head Teachers, Chairs of Child Protection Committees, and Child Welfare Officers came together for these sessions. The primary objective was to orient school-level Child Protection Committees on child rights and the mechanisms for child protection within schools.
So far, five out of the twelve planned training sessions have been conducted. Nawadurga hosted three trainings, while Bhageshwar hosted two. These sessions have provided committee members with a thorough understanding of child rights and the necessary protection mechanisms. This training has equipped them with the knowledge and skills to effectively address and manage child protection cases, fostering a safer and more supportive environment for students.
We are committed to continuing these training sessions and will keep you updated on the progress and impact of our initiatives in the coming months.
