Since 2016, Loo Niva has running the program called Youth Sponsorship Program (YSP) for economically backwarded and marginalized Nepalese youth in cooperation with Aurora Borealis RY Finland and the Student Union of the University of Jyvaskyla, Finland. The general objective of the program is to support Nepalese Youth specially youth girl who has completed the Higher Secondary Education Examination (HSEE) and applying to University education or vocational school for making their future bright. The program supports the higher education of youth by offering scholarships for college admission and other required academic materials through Loo Niva. The cost for one student is around Rs. 25,000 – Rs. 30,000 per year. Addition to practical necessities, the program offers also psychosocial support for the students through various activities and workshops. At the moment, there are 12 young people involved in the program.
